Not just dragoons, my monk has made a nice cozy home in the lava of Titan. Life as a melee DPS is rough, I don't think people realize how much is involved and always give us a hard time when something bad happens. Were practically glass cannons that are in tank damage range at all times. Your bound to get smacked.

MNK high skill ceiling? No, MNK doesn't have gambling risk like DRG and its rotation is a piece of cake faceroll once u've mastered it. To simplify it, MNK doing stupid mistakes means losing GL3 stacks while DRG doing stupid mistakes means dead lying on the floorThe sad thing is, a well-played dragoon is a phenomenal asset (unless you're fighting Ramuh, even our static's DRG has gone on record as saying that once he gets the DRG ring he's -never- playing that class against Ramuh again). It's just that so many players who want to play a melee DPS, but get daunted by MNK's high skill ceiling, end up flooding into dragoon and making the rest look lame by comparison. Hell, even Square's made fun of them once or twice, remember the 8-bit Titan EX fight animation?

Ya'll are making me wanna level DRG just so I can die and put a pic in here.
~Quit moping, get hoping~

Duu Eet!!!

This is the dragoon in our static last night, dying to the TRASH in T8.
But wait! He decided that later in T9, his high allagan spear looked much better on the floor...
When we won, he got the belt, his 3rd piece of gear in a row and the last piece he needs to be done with coil. Thanks SE!

Hum.. I don't find Ramuh difficult as DRG. It's just harder to keep up dps running in and out of the water constantly during adds, but it's a pretty easy fight compared to something like Garuda Ex when people refuse to do it the way it was intended and force melee to dodge wicked wheels. {Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.}The sad thing is, a well-played dragoon is a phenomenal asset (unless you're fighting Ramuh, even our static's DRG has gone on record as saying that once he gets the DRG ring he's -never- playing that class against Ramuh again). (And yeah, the monk rotation is super easy compared to dragoon's, it's just a pain to lose your stacks.)
The main problem on Ramuh is getting back to the seduce rally point when the adds remaining are on the other side of the arena.Hum.. I don't find Ramuh difficult as DRG.
