People kicking new players for watching cs's.....just stupid.

Blame falls on Square Enix for overestimating how kind and patient this community is. These days you get kicked and verbaly abused for all silly things. I am so glad that I decided to do the final dungeons with FC members only.

My only advice to Square Enix is in the future either make cutscenes:
1. Unskippable, forcing every player to watch it, every time.
2. Put the cutscenes at the start and at the end of the dungeon.

FFXIV community is not patient enough to wait for others to enjoy their first time cutscene, Square Enix needs to remember that just, because the japanese players are patient and social, doesnt mean the US and EU players are the same.

'cause Japanese populace is famous for their social skills ("JAPANESE ONRY!!!" teams are indeed quite social and nice) and the large amount of free time the average youth has.

This is along the line of what I suggested time ago: make cutscenes skip ONLY if everyone chosen to skip.

New players happy, and unfriendly players served.

This argument was on forum countless times, but all excuses given for forcing cs skip are quite insufficient for a justification:

new players are slowing us

You are running DF for what? Tomes and alike, you MUST know there are better methods to earn them, and in a fraction of the time a "Praetorium speedrun" does. Then, speedrun and DF does not match together, amazing that someone still haven't realized that.

The Inn watch, I'm quite sure anyone suggesting that have never done it. Watching cs at inn is, in one single word, a LAME experience! You don't have a context on which the scenes are running behind, then (dunno if a bug or not) some scenes of Praetorium aren't in the Inn.

This happens more often, but the duty experience is (maybe) worse as the Inn, you see scenes skipping ahead your face, it may be possible some scene skipped alltogether because the party gone two or more cs ahead and them not presented to you.

No. SE needs to get it into their heads that farmable content + long winded cutscenes is NOT good design.
Use CS for stuff you do once per character.
Use CS at the END of the dungeon.

But leave that stuff out of the middle, so the run doesn't get interrupted every goddamn 3 trashmobs.

That being said: I'd never kick someone for watching them. However, if it's only one DPS or so, we usually will proceed with the run, since it makes no sense to wait for one person you don't need to defeat the bosses.

BTW: If you force people to watch the CS? They will drop out of the dungeon / not queue. So your new players get insane queues or never get in.

This assertion of yours implies all players are thinking like you. I pray my suggestion being implemented to prove this is not true.
