I think the Hyur has softer, sweeter looking eyes so I personally prefer that and associate that more with the sort of posts you tend to make (you and I haven't talked much but I've seen you around the forums a lot and you seem to be a sweetie through and through). The elezen is "cooler" but ... I'm not sure it's in a good way.

It really comes down to you and what you think best portrays you and/or the character you want to play. Pretend you're auditioning actors to play you in your own show. If those two turned up, how do you think they would act and how do you think they would portray you? Which would you identify with the most? All other things being equal, there's more to looks than just looks. Appearance says a lot about one's own personal character and how we choose to represent ourselves. We also feel differently about playing through different characters (I have alts of different races and genders and they're all unique experiences to play, not because the NPC's react differently to you, just something more subtle than that which is hard to explain...).

In a game like this, where physical changes are limited after the fact, you also have to be confident that this is a character that you'll be comfortable with after an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year, however long you plan to keep him around (hopefully many years, you'd be missed otherwise). It's not a light decision to make and not really a decision others can make for you...

I'm an elf in every single game I play that offers it as a race, so I'm partial.

For you, however, I say hyur.

I've had the exact same specs as ur eleven before and one thing that's always bothered me was the skunk look of the pseudo Mohawk.

Furthermore, the highlight look looks way better IMO with that hyuran hair style.

Finally, your name says hyur to me. Marik Destiel sounds hyuran IMO. It's a more realistic name as opposed to a fantastical name that IMO fits better with elezen

Hate to say it (sorry!) but your Elezen just...isn't as "good" as others I've seen. Not really sure what it is but...there's something about yours throwing the whole thing off

Wow! I really didn't think I'd get any responses period. Well thank you so far for your opinions I really do appreciate it. I have never seen this so one sided lol... like I said my friends are evenly split on which I should do, and I myself have been rather evenly split about it. I'm still under consideration at the moment, and still appreciate any and all opinions I still receive.
