60 day time card price discrepancy.

I recently purchased two 60 day time card from the Square-Enix store. One I used on my son's account who is a standard level account and the other I used on my own account which is a Legacy account.

Just a heads up to anyone else, at the current time it DOES NOT take into account any difference between your account status, there is no credit for extra time, there is no reduced fee. I have not yet tried it on an entry level account but I fear even that would be the exact same price as all the rest using this digital time card system. Also not sure if this works the same for the physical time cards.

Hope they can get this fixed, either convert the extra credit to crysta or just do the math for how many extra days it would account for.

This affects physical time cards too and have been that way since the game release and have heard no plans of it changing.

time cards can not be used on entry level accounts, they are only applicable to standard accounts.

Ok, I seem to remember some restrictive options on the entry account. Still is a slap in the face for Legacy players. The one truly lasting benefit for supporting the 1.0 fiasco (other than the back tattoo) since goobu's are in the game and chocobos can be dyed, and they are making plans to bring back 1.0 items.

Time cards in fact have no cash value to them they just add straight game time, 60 days not the $30 cash value you paid for it.

There is only Credit Card options in Canada and the alternative method of payment is the time cards which is 60 days for a flat rate.
They are looking into more methods of payment in the future but cant say much more beyond that
They could not offer a credit in crysta or anything.

    Buyer beware.

I'm not terribly surprised but I would like it if there was some little "*" warning that said this. I really hope they can get it sorted out by December when my time runs out. Hope this answers most of the questions in this thread even if it might not be the answers we were hoping for.
