Gardening - Harvest Time

I just logged into the game (11:00 am) to see my crop of broombush wilted. When I logged out at 11:00 pm yesterday, they were fine and not ready for harvest. My FC record shows they were tended 1 day ago (fertilized and tended).

Seriously? Do you need to tend more than once a day to keep a crop healty?

Once every 24 hours. You dropped the ball no biggie. Water everday at the same time u log in and u wont have this problem.

I did. That was probably 27 hours ago. I don't log in at the same time every day.

And it is a bit of a biggie. Broombush seeds are about 250K each.

Water them twice, once when you log in and again when you log out problem solved.

If you waited 27 hours then it was too long. That really sucks. I feel your pain.

The worse part is they were glowing purple and wilted for a while before they actually died. Might need to hammer on your FC to actually pay attention to the plants from time to time.

It's a bit ridiculous that they must be tended every 24 hours. I have a solo FC so there's nobody else to water the plants. The same would be the case for personal housing now.

My neighbors water our plants consistently as I water theirs consistently.

You can always ask you neighbors. I water peoples plants all the time when I visit housing.

Seriously? It's once a day. It shouldn't a difficult thing to do even solo. I did this in FFXI when making chocobo feed all the time. Log in, check plants, log out. Done in 2 minutes.

It's not the time that it takes to actually do the tending, it's the fact that it forces you to be in the game every day (my work requires occasional travel making it impossible to be in the game every day - I'm sure I'm not the only one). A system that penalizes you 1M gil (which is what I just lost) if you can't log in for 24 hours is a bit much to take.
