Housing in other areas of the game

Is anyone else hoping that housing areas might be extended to other regions of the game, at some point in the distant future?

I've heard there was interest for people wanting houses around Coerthas or Costa Del Sol or just anywhere outside of the currently 3 regions available.

As the game expands with more land from expansion content, is it unreasonable to expect they would extend housing locations?

I want a house in any of the grand cities, not outside the grand cities in a ward. Gladly pay many millions of gil for one!
