    Square Enix RNG is not RNG.

    Maybe once their programmers figure out how to put actual RNG into this game, you can claim that. Or I dunno, maybe you like seeing "You obtain nothing." 3 times in a row on a 97% chance to succeed or having 8/10 desynths @ 70% blow up. Defending this kind of stuff is getting old.

    My post was never intended to "prove anything", though it does show how poor the current RNG dependant system currently is.

    T9 is the hardest turn of 2nd coil, as such gives the best rewards, yet those capable of clearing it early on may never see their weapon before it's redundant, due to the weekly lockouts.

    Pure RNG + Lockouts is a poor and dated system, weapon token drop for T9 would have been far more suitable and please more people.

    People complaining about statistically possible things happening to them is getting old. When there are over a million people doing something 1000 people are likely to see 1/1000 chance events occur. You are not special.

    I remember him saying in a live letter before the game was released that they would have a token system but never saw it guess that went out the window just like our "cheaper personal housing"

    It was a hyperbolic, not literal, example and pointed at her complaints about crafting and desynthesis.

    A few weeks ago in a thread similar to this one, I calculated out the likelihood of not getting 4 of the 9 weapons in 14 completions and getting 5 of the same weapon in 14 completions. ~12 in 1000 groups and ~5 in 1000 groups are accepted differently than 1.17% and .54% by most people even though they are the same number expressed differently.

    1.17% or 0.54% isn't that low.

    Do you know that, with my team, we got 4 staff in row, if I calculate, the % was something like 0.015%, that's kinda low.
    But 0.54% is 1/200, and 200 with the number of players, it's not something hard to get.

    Mine is 1/6500, that's kinda low, specially for T9.
    But it's still not low enough to not be impossible.

    Did someone got same item 5 time in row ? i wonder, must be really realy unlucky. (chance for this are like 1/58 000)

    Take 4-8 turn 6 tokens or whatever seems applicable to trade for one piece of Turn 6 gear.     I like this idea. But I don't think SE would do it because you'd get ilevel capped after 2-3 months rather than 5-6. It might actually allow you to gear more than one job and SE doesn't want that.
