Until you get enough extra CP that the bleedover from 1 TotT (+20) = 1 Basic (-18) becomes "1 TotT = 2 Basic" at a much lower amount of TotTs, there's no point in having a little more CP.

I'm posting this stating I melded my first class after the gloves came out and I had them but I really don't see the outcry over them. I've yet to see a rotation that requires 398 cp over 395. Most of them are 388/391 cp still so the lose of 3 cp doesn't seem that bad to me and every time I mention it someone claims a friend of a friend has a rotation that uses all of the CP but never gets around to posting it. I'm can currently get 389 cp and I don't have cp on my off hand and don't have any melds on my boots but I do have the i55 accessories.
So I'll continue using the Ixali gloves since I have yet to see a reason not to use them. Melding the gloves would cost me ~280k * 8 vs the free gloves for doing the dailies.

The only criticism I have about the i70 gloves is that they do not allow you to craft the same Ehcatl recipes that the low level gloves do. You worked quite awhile to get them, why not allow you to /toss the old gloves and use these for dailies instead?

My 3 star rotation varies based on how many ToT procs in the first 12 steps or so, and one scenario has me using SH instead of SHII for a single hasty touch at the end through BB, and another one has me with 16 CP leftover that could have turned a hasty touch into a basic touch.
10-20% chance on one move isn't enough for me to mess with 3 extra CP. If it was enough to mean the difference between a manipulation or a waste not, then it's an actual issue. I'm still holding on to my old melded gloves in case something changes before they add new gloves, but they're just taking up space currently.
I have a proprietary one that uses my whole CP poolI'm posting this stating I melded my first class after the gloves came out and I had them but I really don't see the outcry over them. that being said though I think the gloves are a good stop gap fro those who don't want to keep a set of gloves for each DOH class.

355 CP without food gives me more flexibility than 352. I think my favorite rotation uses 353.
