You don't need to give examples, I completely understand. You have made up numbers and seem to be confusing them with fact.

What you "know" is that some of your friends and FC members want houses. There isn't enough houses to go around. You're not the first to realise this. Where your wrong is the scale of the demand because you are making up numbers. Understand? You can't simply say "Lets assume the server holds 7,000 people. Of that 7,000 people at least half of them want a red chocobo." and actually accept it to be true just because you asked a small sample of people who happened to want a red chocobo. Not only that but chances are you are going to have a bias in your samples because those who want housing are going to make their voices heard over those who aren't too concerned.

Except my sample was asking random people. And as I said, that was still about half. Your point is becoming that because not everyone wants housing, nobody wants housing.

My point is that some people want housing and can't get it because there are no spots, why not fix that. The amount/scale really doesn't matter to be honest, but one way or another the demand exists.

I am saying that you are trying to make it look like there exists such a high demand for housing with no numbers or evidence of research to prove your point. If half the game's players wanted housing, and wanted it enough for the dev. team to sacrifice time into upgrading servers and the game in order to implement it, then fair enough. Show me the numbers is all I ask.

The people you asked pale in comparison to the number of people actually playing. I don't care how many people do or do not want housing but you are trying to raise an issue with the community by posting it here on the forums without any evidence to support it.

My point was that there was demand, not the amount. The larger numbers were more of an example against another statement. You are reading one post and applying it as a continuation of another post when it isn't.
