You can still get fucked up even with very good & assumed-stable connection. It can still goes down suddenly without any warnings.
And yeah, that's an old time suggestion which some of us should already know. Shit still happens though. lol
I honestly don't understand why they can't do something about this, this isn't like 1.0 where crafting was timed so there is no time based mechanic that continues on if you d/c. I truly don't see what would be so hard about saving the current progress of a synth, if the idea of having the player start while still in the process of synthing is tough, then there should be a way to allow a "save" option when synthing with the option of either choosing to continue or discard the synth you were on.
I'm sure it does have some uses, would be curious to know what macro your using it in? ^^ Are you able to use 7/8 dura reducing skills while it's up?
WN can be very handy for "top level crafting" (not needed, but very helpful on times), but I can't forsee even any mild uses for WN2, other than lower level/star crafts.

A month ago, or so, i started synthesizing an inferno battleaxe and dc'd mid of craft. Mats costed me 4, mil at that time on Shiva server. 2 mil for the infernal horn and 2,5 mil for battle demi 3's. I was devestated for some time after that. It was alot of gil for me and would be for anyone else. I didnt want to use item restore because i thoughti might actually need it for something more important in the future. I also think that implementing a system to prevent these kind of things to happen would be awesome, but then again I think there are more important matters at hand. I learned my lesson: Dont craft expensive thing when you hsve an unstsble connection.
lol I don't remember which anymore. I'll just post mine here. Nothing fancy here. Using NQ can still produce NQ result, but like 1 or 2, not really often. Mats for 1* are easily gatherable anyways. It's just my lazy macro. lol

Cheers
Could be worth you trying this if your craft gears are decent (artisan tool, ok melds and 349 CP - i.e. the new accessories).
Needs 347 Craft (I think), 349 CP and I guess 365+ control (not sure).

Not 100% as it's just 1 button and does not allow for "poor" on Byregot's, but I find it nice and lazy xD
Thx.
I do have all artisan tools, but my gears are 2.2 max melded (sans off-hands), thus I'm still stuck with 345 CP. Haven't really got the time to invest on new 2.3 craft accessories or the i75 main hands, plus it's only gave miniscule improvement. Maybe after things quiet down again, then I'll reworked my accessories set.
Hopefully your macro are just enough for 345 CP, or I'll adjust it to my need.
Again thx.![]()
Try like this and see if it suits your stats, uses 11 less CP this way ^^

/ac "Inner Quiet" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>

May not be as high a % as your other macro, but the NQ 1 star mats are still useful and this should make production a lot faster if you don't mind some NQ's.
