So... I'm confused, if you're having mana problems, why not pop juice like in XI? There is food and drink in this game for a reason, and now they have more of a reason to be used.

A starter LS where new people and returners can come in ask questions and receive help whenever they need it~ /tell Ele Lespeera or Toon Biscuit

Letting people know exactly what is changing in advance can screw up the in-game economy too, grinding the sale of some items to a halt. I'd rather it be unexpected.
"I know not what brings men joy. Of what drives them to great deeds, of what legacies they hope to leave, I know less yet. But I do know this: The true hero of this tale was the man forgotten."

I am happy with the changes.
Honestly what I see most of all is people complaining they want one thing so SE does it, then they complain they don't line it.
What I see is 70%+ people saying in the last player poll they would fully support major changes, then whining because they don't like major changes.
Also I see people playing the new patch for an hour or two, not even giving it a chance and then whining about how everything is destroyed.
It's only been up for 24 hours.
I am happy with the direction SE is taking, I don't like 100% of it but the stuff I don't like I'll get used too and keep going.![]()
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

Are there any foods/drinks that give a MP refresh effect like in XI? I think the juices just boost Mag. Craftsmanship & Elemental Resistance.
I know of some that boost total MP at least, no refresh that I know of though.

Overall, I like the patch, and while I'm not really comfortable with the pure healer role CONs are pushed into now, I pretty much enjoy most of it
One thing I really see as a problem though, is how to get SP. Sure, there are still many ways to get some, it's just that all those ways are not effective at all anymore. With leves and behest and grinding I still DO get SP, but the amount is so incredibly low even though I'm not on a high rank yet, and it's really getting on my nerves.
What happened to "casual"? We casuals know it will take us longer than hardcore players to gain something, but I don't want to play for 3 years to get one class to rank 30.

If you're having magic problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but MP ain't one. Buff me!
Do the instance dungeons and quests. Tons of SP for Company related content, and all sidequests give SP now. It'll be even better in the next patch once even more measures to promote battles in the field and open dungeons for SP.Overall, I like the patch, and while I'm not really comfortable with the pure healer role CONs are pushed into now, I pretty much enjoy most of it

"There are many difficult times ahead, but you must keep your sense of humor, work through the tough situations and enjoy yourself".

SE-Japan rolls a patch off the line and keeps the patch notes secret until the last possible second, changing everyone's skills, while the only players to even read the notes are probably the ones who have invested all that time since the beginning, pissing people off left and right, hurling insults at each other and cursing SE. It doesn't have to be this way. The dev team could be much, much more transparent and this patch could have been thrown up on a test server weeks ago; and the controversial changes could have been challenged as beta content on the forums instead of being received like a kick in the nuts and a punch in the face. The management team is making your lives harder, and I'm sorry you have to deal with closing threads, reading these harsh comments, and wondering when the dev team is going to do something else inconsiderate. I feel really bad since it's not your fault and more than that it's your job to have to experience all of this unpleasantness. What a shame. It's not necessary.
Test server please.
I totally agree with you (as always i think)
but i'm afraid this will not happen, i'm disappointed too about the fact that the nerfs and changes were thrown at us in the last minute.
But i think they take themselves too seriously (totally in the wrong way) to act like that, if not we would actually have a dialogue with whoever is to speak with the player's community not the same. We'll look into it.

Must be why yoshida already said that there will be a test server (making whiny posts like this quite redundant).
It's a good thing that the nerfs were thrown at us at the last minute by the way. At least sane people had a chance to notice that they were well warranted and needed, and that they work, making the game as challenging as it should be instead of trying to mass pressure the team into keeping the game in easy mode.
