Hello, everyone! I'm new to the forums here, been playing a fair amount of time with a bit of a break in the middle due to RL priorities. I really love playing and talking about FFXIV, but no one I know plays, or knows what I am talking about. So I thought maybe I could join in here!

So, there are a million pages on here, figured most of it wasn't relevant to current conversation. Read some of it, but a little confused still. What's everyone up/talking about? Haha.

Well, I am actually pretty certain there is not a logical conversation here! It's all pretty random.
We have been talking about the Yarn Rangers - which is an elite force of Miqo'te who are empowered by magical coloured yarn, or something.

We have also been talking about Bahamut Coil 2, and people's strategies for that.

And then... I don't know what else!

Ah, the yarn rangers was what was confusing me. Lol. I'm a bit behind on content myself. I came back from my break from the game and, surprise!, there was way more stuff than when I had stopped. I also got to 50 about...a month ago maybe? But non-logical conversation is just fine. I browse forums when I'm at work anyways. Does anyone here happen to play on PS3/PS4?

Me, me! I played 1.0 on pc, then 2.0 on PS3 and now PS4. If they eventually release a Mac version, or I manage to save up a good sum of cash to buy a PC, I would like to do that. I love playing on PS4, though!

Oh! Awesome! I was just curious, do you happen to do tanking or healing? I tend to be a completionist, in most cases, and seeing those classes unfinished would bother me, but I thought that both seemed like they would be a bit difficult on a controller. I posted my own topic on this, but only got replies from one person. :/ So, any tips would be awesome.

Oh! Awesome! I was just curious, do you happen to do tanking or healing?

Healing has always been my favourite roles to play, and conjurer was my highest level from 1.0! I play White Mage over Scholar mostly (I'm a bad scholar who let's fairy go on auto-pilot...).

There really isn't any difficulty on playing it with controller at all! You just need to make cross-bar sets that work for you and your controller. I can take screenshots of mine later and post (maybe tomorrow?). In fact, it is a lot easier to play on controller than I anticipated, coming from Final Fantasy XI.

Tanking, I hate. And I am scared of. I am in Australia, and in the middle of bush rather than a populated city, so sometimes my internet connection can be laggy. I am scared of people yelling at me when I tank

My Aussie friends, though, tank on controller just fine! They're really good!
