Golden Saucer?

Will we be seeing the Golden Saucer in 2.4 or is it going to be delayed again?

Right now the Live Letter subjects do not cover the Golden Saucer which leads me to believe it won't be introduced in 2.4 or have I missed something?

I really doubt it, since the last time they showed anything about Gold Saucer was at E3 I believe. It was just a couple of pieces of artwork at the time. I mean, by that time they had a video of Shiva and Ninja/Rogue ready to go. Just going by that, I'd say that the content isn't nearly as far along.

Yoshida: First of all, it will not be in 2.4 patch; it will be sometime during the series, but before 3.0.

The gold saucer, the name itself is still to be confirmed, but let’s call it that for now. I can let you know that a chocobo race will be in there, and Triple Triad, the card game from FFVIII, will be in there as well. With the card game, you’ll also be able to try out with players and NPCs. Also, there will be a lot of minigames, like a basketball-type game as well. We’re also planning to have a dedicated Fate, which will happen in the Gold Saucer area. I want to make sure that there are many exciting things that players will love to stay in this area.

And about the chocobo race: we want to make sure that players can ride their own chocobo, and also race your own – it’s very close to the FFVII chocobo race.

With the Wedding system landing on 2.45, this might mean Gold Saucer might not happen until 2.48 or 2.5, if not later.

No chance for 2.4, I'd even doubt 2.5. They need the lure of it as their "oh no people are unhappy about (insert issue) lets give them more info about the Gold Saucer."

That since it should be a casual friendly implement and 2.5, a casually friendly patch, I'd be surprise if it
wasn't in 2.5.

They've been talking about the Gold Saucer since 2.0 yet other than a couple of concept drawings we've still yet to see anything. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it arrive in 2.5. I'm just not getting my hopes up.

Lol my expectations for golden saucer are set at the minimum possible, I don't trust them anymore.

They've been talking about the Gold Saucer since 2.0 yet other than a couple of concept drawings we've still yet to see anything. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it arrive in 2.5. I'm just not getting my hopes up.

I know they have been talking about it for a while, but 2.5 is the last patch before expansion and it's coming before expansion, so 2.5 -2.5x is the only patch range where it would come.

At the live letter at TGS it was more 2.38 feedback for like 20 minutes and only like 10 mins of 2.4 talk and 30 mins of announcements... was kind of dissappointed in it. Gold Saucer my guess will be released towards to the end of the 2.0 line and just right before 3.0.
