Playing a mage is just fine, I've been playing them perfectly fine since the patch on my main character, you just can't sit there and spam one key and cure to yourself to victory with no concerns of management.

I agree. Playing a mage is in fact one of the things to enjoy in 1.18. We were ridiculous: spamming heals and not having any consequences? Spare me the tears. That's not how games are supposed to be. There has to be some challenge and 1.18 brought it to us. If people don't like either suck it up and adjust or move on. Or, you know, wait for adjustments in future patches since this probably isn't final.
