Can you please Ease Up on Atma now?

No one suffers if the drop rate increases why are some so against an increased drop rate for a prerequisite for the upgrade and a color change.
I am stuck on T5 and Titan EX even with echo. I firmly believe that some content should stay hard such as these. But Atma give us a break already. I can get a Relic and Zenith it in a day.

SE seems to like FATEs so much why not create ATMA FATEs like they did with Lightning, Dragon Quest Events and Christmas Events. Honestly there are probably many solutions to fix the ATMA part. PLEASE SE Can you please Ease Up on Atma now?

Thousands of people have farmed all their atmas. It sucked for them too. Just do it like all the others did if you want the weapon.

Sorry but I'm getting really frustrated reading things like 'yeah I grinded every day for a week 2 hours a day and didn't get an atma' etc. While I would welcome a change in the atma system for my second and third classes (I already have 110/150 extra alex for them but only 1/24 atma), I don't think the time is now. Most of the hardcore raiders JUST started getting their atma with the nexus patch because now the relic can be best in slot based on personal customization. If you change it now you basically validate their stance previous to this patch which is something along the lines of 'forget it I'll just wait until SE nerfs it.' I spent 36 hours in central than over a period of 7 days to get ONE ATMA. I challenge anybody who is complaining about atma being too low a drop to spend 36 hours in the same area. However I don't think it will take that long. And I guarantee you will get your atmas if you just keep going and quit quitting.

I could care less what hardcore raiders do, hardcore raiders are the type of people that break an FC apart for petty reasons.

Which is why it's stupid to let this useless Atma weapon behing a boring farm/grind wall.

Farming Atma is the most boring and unrewarding "end game" content of FFXIV.

We are now at a point where a lot of people prefer to skip it completly and grab their Soldiery i110 weapon (without having to hunt at all, thanks to the new ST loots) rather than farming low level fates for days or weeks.

This content need to go away since it's not relevant anymore. And you make it go away by enabling people to blaze through it by increasing dramatically the drop rate.
That's pretty much about it.

If 2.4 doesn't ease this process, I'll just drop the relic completly and never bother with it anymore, even if it's BiS.

Pretty much how i've felt about all of the relic progression line tbh. I enjoyed the first relic, then the upgrade to zenith. Completely hate the rest of it now, and have started farming soldiery for sold weapon. Screw it, i don't care if raid weapons will be outdated every couple months, if they're BiS over relic, i'm getting them and ignoring the relic line completely. And im at the novus stage work now .

Ok so they give atmas away at the next patch, then what? Even more grind.

9 books to just give the weapon stats equal to its i100 status. Then a daily alexandrite grind. Then a spirit bonding or gil raising grind. Then a light bonding grind.

The whole thing is a grind wall.

To be honest, the step that I feel they should ease up on are those books. Difficulty only exists in the form of waiting for fates (which just serves to annoy) and killing an overly excessive amount of random monsters that stand no chance against you.

if anything leave Atma as is.

Reduce Books to 1000 myth instead of 1.5k = Saving up to 4500 myth. making the total 9000 instead of 13500.

Novus is fine as is. Hunts give alexandrite, Daily expert, Alex map exchange.

Nexus is fine as is. 2000 light points for general use.
