Two major patches and Mi'qote female STILL don't get sideshave and dreadlocks?

Sideshave was added in 2.2. Dreadlocks were added in 2.3. It's been a long time since either of those hairstyles were first added, however you slice it.

2.3, we're still in patch 2.38. they won't add it for any race aside the race that it was originally announced for till 2.4, it's basically a pattern for every major patch to have a hairstyle exclusive while releasing the last exclusive one to a few races by now. which is why the dreadlocks aren't out yet.... can't say for the sideshave though i don't really like that cut myself. :x

Same, I'd rather have nice looking hairstyles rather than worry about clipping that'd kill off anything cool lol I'm also all for more hairstyles that have stuff in them, you know, hairbands, ribbons, bows etc also, more bangs!

If a person cares about clipping so much, then either don't use the hair or glamour a helmet or a different body piece

Just giving every race the two new hairstyles they add every 3 months would go against the whole drip-fed content thing they've got going, obviously. It's more fun to make things exclusive. Too hard to make hairstyles fit different sized heads in a mere 3 months time. Etc.

Nearly. 2.3 still broke my heart when elezen didn't even get an old style. We'll probably get dreadlocks this patch, though. Because that's such an elezen-like style! Sigh

In that case, it's simply styles that were seen as exclusive to certain races (or they couldn't make it work with certain races)
