Summon skins

How would this work? In order for this to happen there would need to be a gear slot or something available to the Summoner and only the Summoner where in we can slot the skin that we want into place so that it can take effect. Without that gear slot or the equivalent there is no way for the override effect to occur. Would this skin be simply a skin? Or would it provide a stat boost of some sort to the Summoner?

The only slot in the gear list that the Summoner has available to it is the Ammunition Slot, that might be a possible option for where the skin can be slotted in, but I am still not sure if this option is a feasible option or not.

Or you can pull up a screen like the companion window when you change barding.
