They should ease up on those now...
Coil content is being nerf'd/buff'd and not to mention all the gear being handed out and it did upset lotsa people at the time, so nerfing atma now is about the right time
and those few who don't like it need to deal with it imo

Exactly my thoughts. Sands/Oil(i110) gear is handed out like candy, why not make the atma hunt a little bit easier? Its i100 and is only equivalent to a zenith weapon. It's not like we're getting handed our Nexus right away.

Here let me explain it for you, RNG. People get lucky, some don't. It's bad design. I got lucky with my first 6, the 7th? 15 hours at least spent on nothing but FATEs and no ATMA.

It is by luck I can safely say, how?
Because ive done it, received 3 atmas so far not trying i.e meaning I was not specifically looking for it. First was because my hunt mob was part of the fate...2nd 2 was me just lending a hand to a friend on 2 separate fates.

I then was like hey im on a roll this week...spent 4 hours in central shroud for nothing...including the Japanese Theory time slotting..

I have to agree...even though it took me about 10~11 hours in total for my WHM and about maybe 20 hours? in total for my SCH to get atmas. (Both were Novus pre-2.38 and I got real lucky)

It's really unfair due to sheerness of RNG, I know many people that haven't started atmas or are partially halfway there only to stop because it takes so much time to do it. Even I ran into someone in duty finder that took over 72 hours in East Shroud with a zenith weapon and stuff..and it still hasn't dropped for that person. The problem is there's enough people that do endgame raids/content that have novus (or 2) or even nexus (or even have all 9 animus'), that they may not increase the drop rates at all.

They said in the past, supposedly that it'll be changed in 2.4 to make it easier to obtain or increase drop rate but at that point...I don't see the usage of it...it should've been changed in either 2.3 or 2.35.

You use 1 person, you didn't do stuff with, and ignore the previous pages containing proof of people taking 800+, 1000, ect... fates to get all 12 how about you read before you post. No one is asking for it to be able to be finished faster. We are asking for atma to be more balanced, so that one person isn't finishing 3 weapons, in the same number of fates that someone else was able to make 3 atma weapons in.
