Again your calling honostly people liers and ignoring what's actually happening. All that needstuff to be done is an 70 fate cap, with the rng being the same. This keeps all atmas under 900. Hell even make it so the counter resets if you leave the zone (not DC or log though), just have some sort of checks and balances.

I believe they are exaggerating their experiences. I can't believe people are fully sincere, call it cynicism. I have proof of my escapades, so that's all I can rely on. People will always look down on things they hate (as I hate Animus), and talk poorly about it even exaggerate their misfortunes with it. Human nature, yadda yadda.

thought they changed that in the last patch? Couldve sworn it was in the patch notes that one can have novus equipped and get atma now. I dont feel like checking so eh lol.

After doing some theoretical math in my head, people are essentially saying that they grind for FORTY HOURS gameplay hours and don't see a single atma? I just want to tell you now, that the odds of such an occurrence is pretty freakin' small. Those complaining about doing 1000+ fates and not getting a single atma are in a small minority (a very small minority).

That's my experience. I got 24 Atmas in under 1000 fates. *shrug*

It isnt about time but about efficiency. If you waste 6 minutes on one fate, its bad. Running around, sticking 30 seconds to one fate (to get gold), then running to another is way to go.

I don't see how easing up the acquisition of atma should not be implemented as soon as possible. SE has already been giving out charity i110 gear, why can't I have my i1100 zenith a little easier too? The system is horrible. The absolute reliance of everything on RNG coupled with low level, mindless fate grinding is very tedious and gets old really fast.
Since we're talking about personal experiences, let me share you mine. I have a total of 6 atma pieces. All gathered within a 20 hour timeframe. Going for my 7th piece, I've spent an approximate of 15 hours split between 2 places without ever seeing an atma drop. My chocobo has gone from rank 2 to rank 3 gaining 30 exp at most from each FATE mob. It's also already halfway to rank 4 at 42373/82000 exp from fate mobs giving it 20-30 exp. That's a shitload of monsters and a shitload of FATEs.
It's horrible and dumb.

There's no reason to ease up because they already said there would be a brand new "relic" questline for 3.0 where everyone will once again start on step 1.

At least let the people who invested all of their time into these during 2.0 reap the benefits of having a nice glamour. There is no reason that everyone should have one.

All of these people who claim to have spent months on atma never seem to be willing to share their achievements. hmmmm

Extal. I started with 105 fates in my log I finished wi th 1203. Had I known that people like you don't believe truths I would have screen shotted it for you. Several people in my fc took over 800 fates, and a couple took over 1000. Notice im not uaing hours becausenpeople exagerate hours, people arent doing 100% fates, you cant truat that x amount of hours was x amount of working hours. However 1203-105 =1098. Thats fact, not hours. It's a logical falicy to say because I have got it in x amount, I don't believe y person. It Also wouldn't matter if I showed youbproof, because you would say it's photo shopped and ignore it, you can't look outside your little bubble. Their is no point to even talk to you and should stop posting in this thread. There is no exagerated going on.

Listen - everyone complaining about how long atma grinding takes might as well give up on the Zodiac quest. As soon as you finish atma, you are entering animus territory. 9 books, 13,500 myth. The myth, believe it or not, is the easy part. Each book has the following:

3 Fates: These can take upwards to 3 hours to spawn. Assuming you're lucky - this phase is going to take you 5 hours.
3 Dungeons: If you're an average player - you will be using the duty finder and you will be replaying old dungeons with newbs. With duty finder waiting - you can call this one 3 hours:
100 enemies (10 sets): Most of these sets have a maximum of 3 spawns deep in an enemy stronghold. If you're really moving - you'll finish this in 2 hours.
Fates:Easy, half hour

You're looking at just over 10 hours per book if you're really moving. If you take your time - or just don't have the energy - you're going to spend much longer.

You're looking at a minimum of 90 hours to complete the books plus all of the hours to get the 13,500 myth. It's going to take you a long time. While it's possible (at you probably could win the lottery level) - I don't believe anyone who says that atma took them 90 hours. Show me your achivements - let me see those 3,000 fates (and the date 1,000, 3,000, etc. were earned).

Then after that you have Novus and Nexus.

If you think atma takes too much "time" - you should probably do yourself a favor and ignore the questline completely.

I believe you. That is possible. Insanely unlucky, but possible. You always could provide access to your achievements and everyone could see the dates all of these occurred.

Animus took me far longer than it took to grind two sets of Atma...which is precisely why I won't do it until they nerf that portion into the dirt.

Please just tell me how to make my crap visable because I've asked like 4 times. I just don't look hard enough for the setting I guess.

I only had 2 books take me more then 5hr, and i df most my dungeons, I did 2 books a day sometime with only 7 hrs of playtimes. It's about knowing where the mobs are, and actually doing fates to force the fate you need to spawn. This would be an example of exagerate on and why I use numbers instead of random hours.
