Fate 数: 361+ fates for all 12 of my Ninja's Atmas. (I only counted fates that succeeded and were gold rank)

Basically in the time it took you to get one, I would have probably gained 16.

Grats you're apparently really lucky then? This doesn't change the fact that there are many people out there who CANT spend several hours a DAY trying to grind out a single atma. I personally only have 3, and the grind is something i'd rather not do. People have lives and things to do other than horrendously boring Atma grinding. Showing people your lucky numbers doesn't mean jack diddly to those who've been working their butts off for literally nothing. It doesn't make them lazy.

What's funny is, we see all the relevant current (endgame-level-appropriate) content being nerfed ("adjusted") in almost every subsequent patch, yet this piece of...monstrosity has remained the very same ever since it came alive (when was that again?)...

Because you still don't get that the purpose of the droprate is not to delay you.
It's low so you keep doing the fates and make the world appear alive.

W/O the atma grinders, 95% of all fates outside of Coerthas would never be done, because there is 0 reason to do them.

Honestly the only thing worse than the atma RNG for me are these people who got theirs in a reasonable time and feel anyone complaining is lazy or lying.

There's the point. About 95% of people I've talked to / opinions I've seen had already been on the despising FATEs side before atma came around - perhaps that's why they've been dead? Simply forcing people to do them is a band-aid, it's not gonna solve the issue itself.

I completely agree. FATEs need to be made attractive w/o forcing people with a stupid RNG grind or they need to be made soloable for the leveling folks.
I was really lucky. Took me 390 FATEs to get my Atma Thyrus within three days of going "hardcore zombie mode". But even 390 FATEs are enough that I cross the street whenever I see one now. Can't imagine the pain of people who did 1K + and still didn't get their set.

Disclaimer: As a still active WoW veteran I vastly prefer simple quests over FATE like events. Too bad Blizzard moves in that direction in WoD >.<

It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a guy who already has 9 animus weapons. That's 108 Atma. In 3 months. At a point it's less about RNG and more about perseverance.

More along the lines of needing to have one's head checked. But to each their own.

Yes there is, since Atma is an outdated stage at this point.
The hard part should be to get the current stage.
