r12playersayswhut? but seriously, once you've done the dungeon a few times and wiped every time with trying out new strats, you eventually get tired of having to repair your gear every 2 hrs...so you look for aid from the community (MMORPG afterall)

If only my character level in this game had anything to do with the fact that the same thing happens at just about any level in any MMO... that jibe of yours might have seemed less irrelevant.

As for the rest of your post... I have been in that position. Many times, in many MMOs. You try, you fail, you learn... You try again, you fail, you learn, you try again. Unless everyone in your group is completely dense, doesn't pay attention and doesn't recognize and learn from mistakes... you're going to win one of those times. Then you get to say "we figured out and beat the boss" instead of "someone else figured out and beat the boss and we just followed the strategy they posted online".

Dunno about you, but I much prefer figuring things out myself. But to each their own, right?

If you say so, im just still very shocked I final fantasy community I remeber from 11 was always very happy to give advice/strats without bashing. Times change I realize I will adapt as well (no need to reply to this comment with more making me feel bad about myself thanks in advance ^^)

People will undoubtedly post strategies and videos and all of that for the fights, but you can't expect them to feel obligated to. That wasn't the point of this thread (as I read it). There is nothing wrong with looking for tips on a fight if that is what you want to do, but just like people shouldn't be bashing you for it neither should you attack people for posting their accomplishment and impressions of the dungeon as being selfish for not also including a detailed strategy of how they accomplished it. The dungeon just came out today, give it some time for information about the various fights it contains to seep out.

FF11 community is in FFXI , this is new brand/type of community .
