I can't play the game for another 3 days and I was just wondering, if we have different delays for each of the weapon types like in FFXI?

That's the most likely scenario, given that's what they did in XI. I'm telling you, Marauder is going to be the new DRK. Can watch whole seasons of Lost between weapon swings.
From the patch notes:[dev1022] The stamina gauge has been abolished.
Consequently, certain actions that were dependent upon the stamina gauge have either had their effects revised, or have been made to affect attack delay. All weapons have been given a "delay" value which indicates the number of seconds in between auto attacks.
* The casting gauge for spells has not been moved or adjusted.
delay on the axe i have is 4.2 seconds. soooo yeahh your gonna be sitting around for a long time on marauder
havent been able to compare its dmg cause i dont have anything thats the same level
Game is running, so:
Do we have different Delays and what are they like?
It really is an important matter to me.![]()
I believe they already suggested that archers would have a cooldown time on their light shot that is equal to their weapon's delay time.
This insinuates that different bows would have different delay times, which in turn suggests that this would also be the case for other weapon types.
*wants to get home from work and check it out*
We do have different delay it vary between classes and weapon types.
Exemple:
Flametongue(GLA) 2.6s
Engraved Buhj(MRD) 4.0s
Boar's Bane(MRD) 4.2s
Crimson Tide(LNC) 3.3s
Banneret Lance(LNC) 3.7s
Willow Wand(CON) 3.0s
Decorated Copper Scepter(THM) 3.0s
