I'm not there , as well as most people, when they run those dungeons to help new players. I'm there for the rewards. Take the Westwind, CM, and Praetorium off the roulettes or remove the rewards and see what new players complain about.

You can watch your Cs's , I'm not waiting if I've seen the same trash mobs and bosses for the 75th time. Sucks for new players, but that's life. Blame SE, not vets rerunning those crappy dungeons

Actually it's a player created issue, SE put it there to get experienced players into dungeons to lessen queues and help new players. It's the experienced players that are choosing to run it for myth and vote kick the new players, there wasn't a pop up tell you to do that.

It's a symtom of an issue SE created.
Step 1 : Make everything a myth or soldiery grind
Step 2 : Reward a story heavy, easy to face roll dungeon with myth.
Step 3 : allow the majority will of the group to vote kick people who don't conform. (yes SE said this in the context of story dungeons).

I skip all cutscenes but I don't get bothered when other people do, and since I main tank, the party will just have to wait.

SE need to address this I agree but they're not holding a gun to your head telling you to run that dungeon. There are far better ways to farm myth vs time than Story roulette, the only reason it's worth going is the newbie bonus which you get for helping them through.

Also SE won't take a side in this argument.

How about this. For every unskipped cutscene in a story filled duty such as praetorium or primals or even toto rak, upon successful completion, you get a bonus 10 myths and 5 soldieries AND 5 allied seals. This is then multiplied by however many new players there are. So 7 new players would be 70 myths per cutscene and 35 soldieries and 35 allied seals per cutscene. (3 would be 30 and 15 and 15 per cutscene) Then see if older players have any excuse to force people to not watch.

The healer of love and justice! (Or the mad/insane/evil/berserk healer depending on who you talk to).
I've played healers for so long that I can heal in my sleep literally (People have seen me do it).
I like to do a bit of everything, but my preference is healing+support (until /that/ happens). FF14 title: Macro Queen

just go say your boss you're not going at work to do your job but to get your salary....
you get rewarded for helping the players not runing a stupid easy dungeons else the reward gap between normal run and roulette +1st timer wouldn't be 10times.

It's bad design, simple as that. Trying to force so much story and cut scene in an MMO raid dungeon gets old and obnoxious. I liken dungeons to a road: After the "intro" scene its a green light to go, if you want to stop at a red light and smell roses and take pictures (watch cut-scenes), don't get mad when people give you the bird and honk there horn and swerve around you. You can re-watch all cut scenes at inn anyways.

I know it sucks for first timers, I remember my first time and trying to watch cut scenes as the rest of the group just took off, after about the 2nd cut scene I said "screw this Ill watch them in the inn" and I don't regret it.

They don't need to, and shouldn't ever take a side in an issue like this. This is an issue -we- the players caused. And since we caused it, we can solve it.

I solve it by compromising. Others muddy the waters by saying I'm wrong for doing that. I say screw them, I'm the one getting commendations from both Newbies and Veteran Speedrunners. So I must be doing something right.

SE didn't make a bad design, god/God/creator/supreme being/nature did when it made humans what they are. Course we also have the ability to either devolve into base emotions and argue and fight, or reason and compromise. I choose to do the latter. Not wait for a dev to try and futilely code out bad part of human nature in a computer system.
