Even though it's a joke but you're comparing an easy turn which was farmed by many groups in an early stage of the game with the hardest boss fight this game has to offer which is cleared by very few people.
I think RNG in this game is ridiculous, I never got anything to show for my coil clears.
The first coil never dropped my weapon and in the second coil it's all the same, 19 clears no monk weapon while everything else dropped a few times.
My group already starts calling me Mr. Casual Monk because of my bad drop luck, I look like every god damn monk that has never set foot in coil cept for the accessories.
Some people here say RNG is RNG, then it's always the same batch of players that get everything handed on a silber tablet. (I have 2 of those in my group)
RNG is luck, there are people with the worst kind of luck so for them RNG is the devil and a flawed system because it does ruin the fun when you're always one of the last people to get your stuff even though you belong to the first ones to beat it.
It would already help if they add an achievement that you can pick a weapon of your choise after beating the content 10 times, I think after so many runs you've proven yourself worthy for that weapon.
