    Regarding Rules/Policy of Yell and Spamming

    Would like to inquire quickly about whether or not we have had a developer/GM post regarding the rules of using Yell (/yell) as a Zone Wide chat amongst players, and what discussion is proper for said function?

    I have recently seen an influx of players using Yell as a form of General Chat communication due to lack of one, and I was just wondering if there are any rules against using it as such. I think a General/ZoneChat would bring a lot more life into the game, however this would also be viable.

    Do GMs consider it spamming to hold conversations over Yell?

    Also I'm not sure what the point of a chat feature is if you can't use it to chat.

    I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

    That's different then. With all the complaint threads, I thought this was another. /shout has always had conversations in it. XI was the same way. I can't say I've played a game yet where there wasn't random chatter there.

    Well you give me a proper LFP tool and I'll stop yelling. Telling me not to LFP on my own when you've failed to give me tools to do so isn't just incompetent game-design it's just mean.

    It already worked before this patch, and now you can put yourself in the "Seek" part. Try before you whine.
