Especially that that horrible one-liner this seemingly entire community holds so dear "this is not the game for you."

It's often accurate to say "X is/may not be for you" though. What would you tell someone that wants to drive a car, but absolutely hates the idea of it having more than 2 wheels and lacking a need for pedaling like a bicycle?

The PvP thing would be interesting, but the imbalance of open world would be crazy in this game right now LOL. Small zones, teleport standstills, limited resource activities (e.g. leves), etc.

You know, there are games that have OW PVP where you need to, I don't know, do something to flag yourself as participating in it?
Just throwing that out there.

One game that does Open World flagging terribadly is Aika. Where, if you're not from the nation of another player, and that other player is flagged for PVP, they can attack you regardless of your flag. (Also citizens and non-citizens can do the same.) This happens even on one of their "PVE" Servers.
