For the art show this is a concern for me:

    4. SQUARE ENIX OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES
All entries and other materials (the "Entry Materials") (including all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights associated therewith) submitted by you become the property of Square Enix upon submission.
I've been working on a sculpture, so does this mean I don't get my art back? Its easy to make a copy of a 2d piece but not 3d. If this is what I think it is, then I won't be entering my piece as I would like to get it back...

This is correct. Unfortunately, we will not be able to return entries that have been submitted.

    Submission Process

I'm a bit confused on the submission part... I was working on a piece that is a bit more like a craft; am I supposed to just mail it in? Or do I enter by following the online instructions and post a picture of it on a third party site, and if I become a finalist, then I mail it in?

If I am supposed to just mail it in, how will I know if a) it was received on time and b) it will/will not be at the event?

If you're working on a crafted submission (i.e. not a 2D art piece), you don't need to take a photo and submit it. Simply mail it to our office, address on the submission site, with the required information and we'll take it from there!
