If the request is make a server in which the OP and everyone alike will be put in, I agree, because that makes happy both parts: the hardcore, not having (or, at least, the intention is) noobs around anymore, and everyone else, without all that hardcore players ruining the joy to play a game with ease and casuality.

On top of that, maybe even make the transfers to that server, free of charge. But transfers from that server to another, not allowed.

I do agree, though this might not be the right game for such a server due to its presentation and setting. Now Black Desert Online or Elite: Dangerous maybe.

I hate to be the one to say it, but there are literally dozens of MMO's which do a better job of PvP than FFXIV. Why not play one of those instead? I'm serious. This game, regardless of whether it has PvP specific servers or otherwise, will never actually have the PvP to back it up. The evidence is already there in the dwindling Frontlines duty finders and the vacated Wolves Den.

The combat is simply not designed to support PvP, and never will be. With plenty of games out there offering genuine alternatives for your kill-fix, wouldn't it make more sense to PvP on them rather than requesting something which will never happen?

I sort of agree. Not with the PvP though since it's a FF game.

But a game needs more competition. And in this game they have pretty much removed most competing that can be done in a PvE game.

Its not even the free PVP this game is lacking. Its that feel of danger, exploration and adventures (we are adventurers, aren't we?).The dungeons are just corridors. The zones are so safe, it's almost impossible to die unless you choose to. You can teleport wherever you want, and even if you run it shouldn't take you longer than 2 minutes to cross a zone. Rivalry and competition between guilds are literally non-existant. Remember the games where being in a guild still meant something? Now its nothing more than a chat channel. Don't get me wrong, I love this game. But yes, its a carebear MMO.
