Everyone had a house and you didn't have to sell your soul to obtain oneand how was the mog house better than housing in FFXIV?
It also served more of a purpose than just to look pretty

Well... most of you are forgetting those are just the prices for the "land", not the house itself
Yoshi-P tryed to be smart, because the run on housings is slowing down (most FCs already have and the others are waiting for new wards or still farming the gil) - so he thought adding personal housing can fill that spot and make the wards "full". That way they dont spend money for a server half filled...
I'll be over there, waiting for this "ward" thing to go away and for us to get instanced housing that doesn't bog down the whole game. Keep the existent wards for the FC's and let them fight for the plots, they have the money for it.
Give us private instanced housing that doesn't need one server per ward or whatever and that isn't being hogged by the "rich people" that they based these ridiculous prices on (I would wager that a lot of the gil they based this on is from RMT people) AND where we don't have to compete with FC's.
The ward idea is very interesting but it's a white elephant.
This... Actually reminded me of something...
Firstly, XIs Mog "Houses" let you stack effects off furniture to obtain a bonus (Moghancements? idr the name, it was silly). Edit: Found this.
Where is this in XIV? I specifically remember Yoshida talking about it pre-release, and how they'd be improving it so it wasn't tied to furniture... Think he called it Totems? Did this get changed into FC Actions at some point, or is it just another piece of content that's just vanished during production?
Let's see, gardening, extra storage, moogle mail, and that's just what I remember from 5 years ago.
What of that can you do in your personal room? None of it...
You want to do that in xiv? Buy a house, which you cannot do on most of the more populated servers.
Bad implementation is bad, and lies are lies.
you got more storage in FFXIV than in FFXI and you don't have to travel to your home town to access it.
gardening and moogle mail is at your FC house. didn't they say that personal rooms will also get a garden at some point?
The devs have stated no such thing to my knowledge about gardening in your private room, link or It didn't happen...
Also bad implementation is bad, lies are lies, there is no excuse.
Below is part of the terms and conditions you would have checked as read and understood prior to opening your account.
10.12 Changes to this User Agreement.
SQUARE ENIX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add to, supplement or delete any of the terms and conditions of this User Agreement or the way that the Game operates at any time.
Yoshi P is not a liar, and to call him one tanatamounts to slander. It's a game, you pay a subscription to play this game, if it doesn't suit your needs find a game that does. SE don't care whether you leave or not, do you really think you will be missed ?, do you really think that SE will implode without your monthly subscription ? If you do then you should be considering professional help. Moan about the game all you want but don't slander people because you misunderstood what was said.
First, your term is wrong, it would be libel if in written form. But that would only apply if live letters and other developer statements couldn't be considered advertisement.
Also, how could there possibly be any misunderstanding when they don't say anything for 9 months on the topic, when asked repeatedly?
Did I mention, bad implementation is bad, and lies are lies...
