Anyone else notice that the gear break way faster than they used to do prior the patch?
I guess SE wanted to put more gils sink in this game =x

I will repair it myself!
Twintania also deep breathes more...wait..

Oh I wasn't imagining things after all.
*repairs all to close 200%* 2 ex 2 high roulettes later "your xyz is now under 10%"
*what* before last boss 2 pieces were at 0%
At least they don't break, or become invisible (like in WoW, but, that would be funny though)
Glad I have everything but alchemist high enough to repair allagan and soldery gear. Cheaper than NPC repair, but buying those things still is a (minor) gil sink
They have made that change before when they added the improved self repair and up to 199% repairs... did they increase it again?

Is it just me or does it seem like teleport costs increased slightly as well?

Wasn't there also a bug with this stuff when 2.1 hit? I seem to remember them needing to tune the algorithm the first time they introduced new end-game content because things were breaking a lot faster based on iLvl vs. content difficulty or something.
I'm guessing this is a bug like the gamepad code that's broken; they tried to tweak something and their QA department is one intern with ADD.
10 posts per page is only the default setting; it is bad, and you should feel bad if you haven't changed it.

I am guessing that it is a bug. I ran T8 last night, and we wiped 3 times. Then we practiced T9 for a while, so I died a lot, and my gear never even got down to 100%.
I haven't noticed anything..

Hate to say it but you're probably either overestimating or bugged out. Spent an hour wiping on T7 before finally clearing it, and had a couple wipes on T6. My equipment dropped... maybe 30% at most?
