No FC room, no personal house... big deal??

I don't want a room in the FC, nor I need a personal house. What is all this fuss about personal house prices? If it is too high, don't buy it and wait for the price to come down. If other people have been saving up for this and can afford the prices now, more power to them.

Why are people complaining about a total optional vanity acquisition? Maybe they should have gated this behind a grind like atma?

Because vanity is serious business in this game. Shiny slippers, goofy hats, emotes and pointless minions is what sells in this MMO. Housing is the biggest vanity of them all and they totally goofed it - naturally, incoming tidal wave of rage.

I personally don't give a two shits about housing, never have in any past MMO, never will in present MMO. But also too people are mad that SE lied about pricing, I think thats the biggest reason I've so far for all the rage.

It's not always about the Gil. Many many many people can afford it but to add a whopping 180 total units (s,m,l combined) per server is a joke.
Then think about this, it took 9 months to change the buying privileges from FC leader to anyone.
Top it off with a pre planned post by Yoshi and you get justifiable rage.
This has been the worst implementation of housing in any modern MMO.

I don't feel like some crazy VIP or anything like that. So why are all the people raging because they must feel they are important. I just don't understand how they rage at vanity stuff?

The personal room housing in the FC house is significantly cheaper. But people totally discount and ignore that and complain about how the prices are misleading. The prices are always dropping and it is getting lower. So what is the big deal?

My FC has a house. That's enough for me. As far as vanity goes, I like to change up my character all the time. A house is a different story. For me, it's a bunch of money for something I'm rarely going to be at anyway. The only thing I'm really interested in is the stables, which my FC has. I'll leave the decorating to the FC leaders. I'll save my money for other things.

I don't mind the cost, what I didn't like was every small plot being sold out within 10 minutes of the servers going up. Two wards per area is not enough, and the wards they're planning to add in 2.4 aren't going to be enough, this was poorly thought out. Personal houses should have been separate instances.

While I'm not in the same boat as people who were looking forward to Personal Housing I can still understand why they are mad/upset.
Just because everyone doesn't play EXACTLY like you do doesn't mean they don't have a right to be reacting the way they are.

You have no beef with the personal housing situation, so why poke the bees nest? Leave them alone and go play...
