    Well original post says you have to RE-MELD the stats, so no, we have not wasted our money/time in it.

    According to the Novus/Nexus reset description, you don't have to re-do the whole process, all stats will be transferred to a clean sphere scroll, so then you remove each stat individually, re-meld the new stats and re-apply them to the Novus/Nexus.

    If this is correct, this is the BEST relic upgrade yet.

    So let's say you infused:

    44 Crit
    24 Det
    10 Acc

    now let's say you want to reallocate the 10 accuracy points in order to cap Determination, you should:

    1. remove the 10 points of Accuracy [for free];
    2. infuse 2 DetIII and 8 DetIV materia to the scroll
    3. re-bond the scroll to your Novus Weapon.


    At least that is what I get of it.
