When one blatantly lies to their customers, as he has with this (read my signature), then yes, every bit of criticism he receives about this, is fully and 100% deserved. I'm not normally one for this mindset as I usually just roll with the punches of things, but I don't tolerate being lied to, it's ended relationships, it's made me stop shopping at certain stores, it's made me leave jobs.
