I would have liked novus to have more value, by making unweathered weapons harder to get. While you are right that savage coil is the hardest content in the game, a player should not get the strongest weapon in the game by doing a daily casual grind that you can do half asleep.

I don't think most people understand the difference between watching a fight and experiencing a fight. You should not use a video or a guide as an example in the first place! Most videos are kill or mechanics videos and show you the almost best case scenario of the fight. It's very misleading.

Not to sound rude, but you just contradicted yourself. Savage coil and normal coil are very different in terms of difficulty, but they are both still classified as coil at the end of the day. When second coil was initially released, savage coil never existed. Also, both drop the same loot.

Anyway, I think coil weapons should remain the "best" weapon upon release with other weapons catching up later. Otherwise, what incentive would there be to do coil? It's considered the hardest content for a reason.

The problem is that unless you are doing t9 or savage coil You don't need the strongest weapons. in fact certain fights punish you for doing to much damage.

Again, when you factor the time for progression, the effort in making pots, the cost of making food, talking with other raiders about strategy, and include the fact that bad RNG could keep you from getting a weapon, the time sinks are not the same.

You can finish a novus from the atma form in about one month. Most statics did not have t8 down after one month of being in SCoB. Raiding is just not a one hour a week farm fest, it takes a lot of time to get to that point where SCoB only takes an hour to finish.

Also, people who do different work get paid differently.

The guy at Taco Bell makes less than me but I am sure we both work similar hours every week. Different work should not equate to equal pay.

Omg yor are so wrong. I can pay for t9 clear and get my win within 10 min.
Result: mercs were working their ass out learning coil, i was doing other fun things. And we got same rewards
