Who here would have preferred wardless personal housing?

Nah, if I wanted wardless, I'd just stick with the private room in my FC house forever and not bother with the personal housing. They're not nearly as much fun. Going in and out of the house, wandering around the ward, meeting neighbors, that's what makes a housing area worth it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as angry about -this- particular way of handling things as anyone, but I've posted that rant elsewhere. If they're doubling the wards at 2.4, the very least they should've done was make those wards personal exclusive, and these FC exclusive.

Yeah, but we can already do that with FC Houses and private rooms. Private Rooms are basically just part of an FC House, which is already in a neighbourhood. Also, said neighbourhood is always going to be busier if all the houses are FC Houses - imagine how dead the neighbourhoods will get if they're all personal houses. You'll have, what, maybe 10 people logged into the game at any one point for the 30 personal houses, and of those 10, only maybe 1-2 will be in the entire ward. It doesn't make much sense, does it? FC Housing + Private Rooms gives us almost everything that personal housing is currently offering. The things it lacks are size and personal gardens. This could easily be achieved with a wardless housing situation and everyone could be able to access it due to the lack of need for wards. Instead, what we have is basically FC House + Private Room with notably less opportunity for social interaction between FC people.
