Join, or create a free company, and then purchase a house. There is nothing stopping you from enjoying the "privileged aspects" of the game.I began this game almost one month ago to this day. I'd like to think I've come pretty far in that month.
Then I see news like this.
It's truly disheartening to know that I, as a newer player to this game, will never be able to enjoy the "privileged" aspects of it. I may as well stop playing while I'm ahead.
I dunno, I'm probably in the minority here but I would say anything that either deters people from moving to or encourages them to move away from overpopulated servers is a good thing in the grand scheme.
If that were the case, we honestly would've seen Excalibur and Balmung reach equilibrium with other servers a long time ago.
