don't worry about rushing now that we know the prices (even though they barely changed)
* A large amount of additional land is also scheduled for implementation in patch 2.4.
i know i know another month is horrible.

Here's my problem. My problem is I didn't think they could possibly screw this up. I really didn't.
I've been dealing with SE and their half-baked crap all this time...I mean how can you POSSIBLY
mess this up, when you had this in the oven for all this time, comes out like poop!!!
SE, please STOP! throwing out content that's obviously not finished.
I hope everyone enjoys my rage right now, I'm so mad I'm laughing LOL.

It's a little surprising they're onpar with fc housing prices, given what they said in the past, but at the same time: game's been out a year, and 4m is chump change. You can make that much -easily- in a day (read: 3-6hrs) solo or party grinding.
I saved up just a bit over 800k but seems like I'll be off by a large margin.
Blegh, guess I can buy glamours instead.

It is obvious that Yoshi and Square have learned absolutely nothing from the launch of this game and the release of the FC housing. To misrepresent something and then switch it at the last minute like this... AGAIN is just another slap in the face to their player base.
Thanks Yoshi for completely dropping the ball, regurgitating the same crap in a different wrapper... hell you made your entire career in this game doing that. If you weren't copying WoW you were copy pasting your own content with 'Hard' slapped on.
Sorry 98% of the players. We need to screw you over to get some RMT money out of the economy because we are so completely incompetent we can't do it any other way. But don't worry, once all the good plots are gone you can be happy to know that you can spend every gil you have saved for 6 months on a left-over piece of garbage... in the back... behind a dumpster.
Along with the fact that the land is ridiculously expensive, it seems that these two wards are available to both FC and personal housing?
Essentially....
FCs are going to buy up the majority of the land plots anyway, and only the horrendously rich / gil buyers will be able to actually buy land.
Why couldn't they have just made a different, personal housing ward that didn't share with FC wards? This is a terrible idea..

Well looks like I'm sticking to personal rooms. I spent hours fixing up my room but was hoping for a personal house, however these prices are downright stupid. Ridiculous even. What I don't get is why they're mixing personal houses and FC houses together in a single area. How come no individual instanced housing? Big large wards for FC groups but individual little instanced zones for players. Considering how many players there are out there they'd have to increase the amount of wards far beyond anything they imagined in the end here. As it stands the furnishing limit for large houses is so ridiculously low I can look at my personal room and almost cringe with how empty our Free Company house looks because there are such huge spaces all over. It's not because of our FC designer, but because it's capped at 250. I like the game, I'll keep playing regardless, but housing in this game feels like a joke.
Period.

the funniest part is. since fc housing and personal housing is the same once they add in the 35 day limit thing fc housing and personal housing will be part of it. nobody is safe.

i saved up at least 4.5 mill for personal housing fund @_@ yay small house

Yet in one fleeting moment for the new leaf doth grow"
