You do know that you can turn off BGM from the System Menu? I do that sometimes when I've had enough of the looping music.

The difference is, that music didn't suck and this is 2014, so there is no reason we shouldn't have some sort of variety due hardware or software limitations.Uh, just take off your Job crystal before you queue for DF then?
As for the dungeon music, before you all pass judgement, earlier FF games were exactly the same - older FF games just used the same battle music throughout the entire game in random battles fought in dungeons and the overworld.

SE is cruisin' for brusin' on this issue. My tip? Turn off the music TBH. It's in the sound options. I turned off the music within 2 weeks of playing and haven't looked back. It's a shame fate/battle music ruins all the neat land zone music and SE is playing the stubborn role on this issue and has said they won't give an option to disable battle music or fate music (atleast thats what forum users have said in the past).
I think it does. They've already said that they're not going to change it so I turn it off in dungeons where I don't want to hear it. In the dungeons that I do love the themes, I end up turning it up. (=^.^=)b
But that's my solution! (=^.^=)b

why not give an option to ignore certain specific tracks? O.o
I usually have other music in the background anyway, and some days i turn bgm back on.
The only time I have BGM turned on is:
Turn 9
Ramuh
Sometimes Coil.
That's really it. I mean, it would be awesome if they can just add a client Music Box so we can choose what music we want.
