What cause players to quit Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn

Fucking botters will probably stop me playing soon, I am sick and tired of seeing them everywhere and the marketplace being filled with botted materials which I have to compete with as a honest, rule abiding gatherer/crafting player in comparison. The fact Squeenix refuse to ban any bots and their lack of care about the issue is disgusting and their lack of care pisses me off more to be honest than the cheaters whom they refuse to ban. No other MMO (P2P) has such truly horrible bot enforcement as this one does and I wonder if they even have this so called 'special team' that they claim for dealing with such, if they do exist then they are not doing their jobs or enforcing their own policies at all.

I spend my few hours playingn, by leveling up crafters and spiritbonding for my DOLs

you can't do coil, you say you don't care that much, yet you are still arguing about not having an iLv115 weapon without putting effort.

endgame it's not the only way.
you do ST, you do hunts. you get your ilv110 weapon.
you do your relic Novus, you get a iLv110 weapon that can be upgraded more in the future.
a +5 iLv doesn't help you clear duties faster.

on top of that, next patches will insert other ways to geto to iLv 115 without Coil.
you don't want/can't/whatev do coil, you have other ways to improve your gear.

They have the team, but it seems like the only thing they do is ban spam bots, the ones making the gil stay there no matter how much you report them.

A big thing which nearly put me off when I started was the global cooldown. 2.5 seconds is an eternity if you've been playing other MMOs.

If they would make 2 changes I would like:

1. A 1.5 second GCD
2. No delay on abilities

Both the slow paced combat and then the slow activation of abilities really makes the game feel like you're trying to fight in honey.

Not needing a single thing from ST, then helping your FC farm it for 4 attempts in one day, then they decide to do T5 and kick you out because you haven't cleared it yet and they want the items. And the one person that wanted to form a static with me and help me clear T5, they kicked out of the FC weeks ago because they didn't like his opinions on certain topics relating to the FC. Yet, not a single person has cared to change the FC's greed over need policies which are obviously in effect for the few 10+ people in our 250+ FC.

This causes people to leave. It's the community as well. It's NOTHING like FFXI was.

I think how toxic some of the community have become both in game over hunts and on the forums, is what would put some people off continued play
In XI the community was so tight knit, but in XIV, their is no proper community due to their being nothing FC wise for everyone to be involved in
