    CT3 might be inside the Void. Maybe I'm wrong but have we not been told somewhere in the story that Voidsent are not killed, but just sent back to the Void ? Lady Amandine was killed, Halicarnassus brought her back by snapping her fingers...
    Diablos may be waiting there, in his own realm.

    Ok I'm just hoping too much for his return I guess

    I would honestly like to see some ff6 bosses... something, hell most bosses are long phases anyways... add the Divine Comedy fight! If I remember correctly, it was literally the first of it's kind in the final fantasy series! It's a 4 stage fight and you had to go through a lot of crap just to reach the final boss. Music transitions, way different mechanics per transition... this is very fitting for this game!

    To be fair, Louisoix didn't summon the Twelve at full power, in fact, he summoned them late;

    http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/anniv...?rgn=na&lng=en
    The Archon’s plan was to summon the Twelve using forbidden arts known only to him. With their combined strength, he was certain that he could prevent the fall of the lesser moon. Such strength, however, posed a threat in itself. Should Eorzea’s patron deities assume physical form, it seemed more than likely that they would be prone to the same appetites as the gods of the beastmen. Should that prove the case, their mere presence would bleed the land of life. And so Louisoix would instead call upon a fraction of the Twelve’s power—enough to stay Dalamud’s descent, and no more.
    If you're going to summon 12 Gods to stop the moon from falling, at least do so before the moon explodes and releases an angry dragon... That's just common sense...

    I fully expect any fight we may have to be a case of us distracting him, while Cid or the twins pull out a deus ex machina in the form of Omega Weapon or a second Twelve summoning. The only other possibility is we effectively beat him in Coil while his in pieces, only for him to be resummoned by his new slaves in a much weaker form. The only reason he is so powerful now is because the Allag wanted him to be as powerful as possible because he was the center of their orbital power plant. The Coils keep him alive through artificial worship, and that's one aspect of where Primals draw their strength.

    I would say this is the most likely scenario. Also, some form or maybe Bahamut himself is probably going to be the final boss.

    I say this with hesitation because I posted a thread about it a while back and people didn't really seem to like the idea, but I've always thought it would be cool to have a variation (not a copy pasta) of Jenova as one of the coil bosses. Like maybe some sort of ancient Allagan weapon what was built, sort of the same way that Bahamut is regenerating.

    Garuda and Shiva are "he" in the Hindu religion which they originated from. SE is free to make their creatures whichever gender they please.

    I am aware they are male in the actual mythology, which is why I said in ALL renditions of Tiamat I've ever seen, and that includes the FF games I've seen her in.

    But you are right in that they can change that if they want. They did just that for Garuda specifically since the first appearance in FFIII was male.
