With Morbol Green being the goal, my chocobo has been in a color loop between [Cactuar Green > Turquoise Green > Peacock Blue > Storm Blue > Orthard Blue] for weeks now (single proc feeds only). Although most of the loop has been going back and forth between Cactuar Green and Turquoise Green.

I decided that attempting this method couldn't hurt and at the very least, like OP said, I "would end up with a color somewhere within my range and would just need to fine tune". Didn't sound like a bad deal, at least I would have a NEW color and be outside of my color loop.

I took the results from the calculator and heavily heeded this guide's warning to mix the fruits so as to not max out rgb values. From Cactuar Green it said to feed 6 pears, 5 apples, and 13 berries. Since there were so many berries to feed I didn't want it to max out blue so I feed 1x pear, 1x berry, 1x apple, 1x berry, 1x pear, 1x berry, etc till I was out.

Waited 6 hours, Turquoise Green. Thanks. I could have gotten that with 1 Berry. Thanks, really.

    So, we know that Turquoise Green (71, 119, 119), Cactuar Green (103, 135, 67), Morbol Green (35, 71, 71)

The feeding was supposed to have dropped you into the Morbol Green zone, but I guess due to the lack of exact values and math, we didn't get close enough. But interestingly enough the difference are almost 2x of the desired color value. All I can say ATM is, no idea what SE did there.

But to assist you further, from Turquoise Green (71, 119, 119) to Morbol Green (35, 71, 71),

    Code:
    Step	Feed	Qty	71	119	119
    1	apple	7	106	84	84
    2	pear	6	76	114	54
    3@	berry	6	46	84	84
    4	apple	3	61	69	69
    5	pear	3	46	84	54
    6	berry	3	31	69	69

    To Target 4	2	2
Applying microfeeding, I suggest you feed all the fruits to step 3, and I would stop right after feeding the 6 apples. Reason here is the last apple takes you into the Morbol Green range, and the addition 3 apples, pears, berries, are there to fine tune you to (35, 71, 71). GL.

Thanks for the reply, I'm willing to give it another shot, but did you mean stop after the 6 berries rather than apples? Or did you really mean stop after the 7 apples wait 6 hours then continue with 6 pears + berries wait another 6 and then carry on with fine tuning with the 3 sets of 3 fruits?

Yeah, sorry, 6 berries, the step with the @ sign. So, feed everything as instructed in the first 3 steps, then wait 6 hrs for the color change.

When I do the microfeeding breakdown, I like to make sure the last few fruits are just there to fine tune the color closer to the RGB value of the desired color. The @ step is where the feeding takes you from the mid point of current color, passing any other color in between, into your desired color. So it is the starting mid point to the edge of the ending color. It may sound strange, but this also allows for the maximum error if we do happen to overshoot the color.

New Color!! Ochu Green, feeding the remainder and keeping my fingers crossed

Edit: I fed the 3 apples/pears/berries in the last step but did not get a feather proc message... does this matter?

Edit2: I was pretty sure no feather proc=no color change. Rather than potentially wasting 6 hours I fed him an extra berry and got the feather proc message. We shall see.
