I love using hot glue, it adheres pretty darn well. Super 77 spray glue works too. e6000 works as well, though you have to be more patient with dry time

I am terrible about making cosplay myself so I'm picking up several pieces.

I do not have pics yet of the Allagan Mask, Casting Grimorie or Gauntlets but I can give a brief description of each.

Mask-
Allagan Mask from First coil. Melee / Archer mask. Face plate with Dalamud moon hanging from the side.

Edit: Mask is done, image get!


Casting Grimorie-
Book is black page with glow in the dark paint and leather bindings. Magnets will be in the spine area.

Gauntlets (getting these measured in an hour from posting this!)
Getting a pair made similar to Son Wukong from RWBY so I can use for a couple different cosplays. In the palms I've requested some small metal plating so the book can grip there via magnets for better and more dynamic posing.

Edit #3- Talked to the one making my gauntlets. She'd love to have her FB page posted so here it is, she will be updating with pics of them as she goes.

When I get update photos from the people working on these for me I'll be more than happy to share. Once again, I am not making any of this because I ~SUCK~ at crafting.


Edit #2- if anyone wants to know where I'm getting things, I'll do my best to provide information. I'll just need to ask one or two of them if they want to be publicly known or not. IE the ones making the gauntlet and book.

Sounds fun. I should make or find a whm robe but I wouldnt even know where to begin (I am picky on quality so probably best to make it myself so I can only blame myself for it)

My thoughts exactly. I once purchased Mithra RSE FFXI cosplay and it was a huge disappointment. After that I decided to make any costumes myself. XD

if i could sew and not thread my hands more then the fabric that might be doable for me. x.x

Yeah, ive had better results getting everything glued down and then sealing.
