Can you give a lil more info regarding the "Personal housing all 1 size"? I'm considering spending my fortune on a Solo FC mansion but want to get all the facts str8 before pulling the trigger. I heard personal housing will also require an FC but this is the first i'm hearing there will only be 1 size.

Many call me crazy for wanting to buy a Solo Large Plot is there any truth to this? Any regrets from people who own a Large and wished they hadn't overstepped?

They have only ever talked about only one size for personal houses, only one price for personal houses, it's very much implied that there is only one size.\

This is compared to the talks before FC housing was released where multiple sizes got mentioned many times.

Might want to wait until you see what personal houses have to offer, unless if you think you might lose out on the plot by then. I have no regrets on my large, but personal housing could change that.

the personal house will be one size mean they are all the same, no small medium or large, just 1. And I am alredy a solo FC own a small house atm and saving up to switch to medium atm (large house doesnt look that good (just my opinion and reason why I dont aim for large ). As post #15 said, if you are unsure you might want to wait for more info before buy the house.

Also, I have no regret I buy a small house. Personally, I dont care about the personal house that much, I am saving up for a medium house and that will not change.

ps: in case you forget, SE will add airship and boat to FC, not personal house (and those are bonus)

Thats a good point Airships will require an FC house and perhaps having a Large will provide a bonus in this regard. I guess the smartest thing to do is wait it out. Who knows maybe there will be another Devaluation on the costs of plots when the new wards are introduced.

It's not likely that a Large house will have any significant bonus as far as airships are concerned. The airship building seems like it is done by magically shrinking it and working on it like a model (at least according to the concept art that they discussed a while back) which doesn't require a huge area and the airship hangar is apparently not going to be in the house itself. My guess is it's going to be like an apartment parking garage or just an area you get to by a door or something in the house rather than an actual part of the house.

As far as price reductions, I don't think they would be doing any more soon. The required Gil is very reasonable to come by now, compared to 2.1, and people are buying up houses frequently. The initial price changes were because at that point Gil was leaving the economy at an incredible pace and no one was buying any of the houses because of that, initial price shock, and the fact that small houses were garbage as they were about half the current size and only had one floor.

All good points. I would assume that Airships would only be available to FC houses and not to Personal houses. There still needs to be a reason/benefit to obtaining FC house vs. everyone buying a personal house. Since gardening and Chocobo raising is said to be available to personal housing there is already almost no reason to purchase an FC plot (besides vanity) when all of these features can be obtained with less hassle and less gil.

I'm not only hoping Airships are exclusive to FC housing but also hoping they implement others features that are exclusive to them as well.

Dunno..normally one shouldn't complain before something is released but I expect nothing more than a huge letdown to be released and not what people look forward to. Either the prices will be insane, slots limited or they will say that gardens/stable come later or come up with other restrictions that take care you get your house in 2015 if you grind much lol. The optimist in me is still looking forward to it. One place for everything. Retainer bell, market bell, repair guy, merchant, garden, stable -> happy player.
