Ok...it needs work. But that Aion one? Sure it's pretty. Pretty in that it looks like it's been to the spa and is now off to the lion stylist to get some mane extensions. At least the FF one looks like it will ----ing murder you and eat your face, and it may be even in that order, if you're lucky. You know, like something called a WARLION should be like.

Honestly the only thing that bugs me about are the eyes, which is a big problem because making eyes wrong on a creature detracts heavily from the rest of it.

I totally get that it doesn't have to look "pretty".. .but this is final fantasy we're talking about, so let's face it.. they could of done a MUCH better job... and they can, I just don't know why they didn't...

Besides, normal lions are a mythical creature in Eorzea. I forget the quest, but you find something that has some sort of badge with a lion on it, and says its mythical.

I never really looked at screenshots or anything of what it would look like. I had this image in my head of something quite beautiful looking (as I think lions in the real world are quite beautiful creatures) and I trusted SE would make it look nice just like most everything else in the world of Eorzea.

Well, the other day, I spotted someone showing off their new warlion mount and I was extremely disappointed to say the least.
