WHM or SCH for you..?

Overall I prefer SCH for its ease of stance-dancing and single target clutch healing. Between Aetherflow mechanics and the fairy, I definitely feel less constrained by the almighty GCD and easily able to provide supplemental DPS without risk, also thanks to large, constant damage shields.

WHM I like for its ability to casually heal through big AoEs and to help faceroll trash content with Holy assist.

I main scholar. I find healing after the damage is done too stressful, I'd rather prevent it. Sure I need to know the fights really well, but these days I only do second coil (working on t9), and everyone needs to know the fights. I feel naked without a fairy haha! I only use my white mage on stupid easy content just to have fun or to spiritbind stuff for crafting materias (holyyy). Oddly enough, I hate summoner but am in love with scholar. I rarely feel the need to split my heals between the fairy and me, but my macros as set up in a way that lets me do it if I want. I have embrace on a separate key.

I end up panicking when my fairy dies, I never seem to catch up to the tank's HP without her, even lustrating burns. As WHM, I do feel more confident in my burst heals, but my fairy is like a safety net for me.

I like running Expert Duty Roulette as a Scholar because that last boss in Stone Vigil is a hit and miss in duty finder. Some people take too many hits, and my WHM can't heal through that healing debuff as efficiently as a Scholar. This is also the case for Hydra and Tam-Tara Hard Mode where big pulls + disease means Lustrate is godly. +_+

For Titan Extreme, I like healing on a WHM in the rare occasion where my random group doesn't have enough DPS for super bomb. Cure III x2 does the trick, and is necessary for surviving situations like that.

If I'm doing a dr low, I prefer having Esuna availble.

I rather SCH. I'm having a hell of a time getting whm to 34. I always feel stressed on whm, where sch I rarely do. Currently I main both SMN/SCH and am building up to their i90 sets. Haven't gotten relic for SCH yet, mainly because I wanted better gear before having to heal HM primals (as leveling up, sch rarely got upgrades lol) I'm still learning fairy managment; dont have any issue with Garuda.
I'd love to get WHM to 50; but with as much trouble as I've had of it so far I doubt it will happen any time soon/at all.

I prefer WHM for a few reasons even though I like SCH also.

I'm not one to care about over healing because at the end of the day, there is no negative aspect to it unless you're blowing MP like a moron. I love pet jobs, but the fact of having to rely on a pet and also Aetherflow is a bit annoying to me on SCH, although I do appreciate how easy SCH is to play lol No need to worry about MP, Lustrates for OH CRAP moments... It's an easy job, and that's mainly why I prefer whm. You get 1 emergency heal every 5 min that takes almost two seconds to go off lol I'm a huge fan of AoE everything and WHM excels at both healing and dps using AoE.

Another reason is because my main is SMN and I don't feel comfortable being short on 30 MND.

I stance dance a lot on WHM idk whatchall talkin bout lol Oh and also Holy, my fave move in the game.
