New Miqo'te Hairstyles? More like single new hairstyle...

I think that they haven't put in any short styles because of the lack of ears on the sides of miqo'tes' heads. It would (probably) look strange having a humanoid without ears in the normal place. If you think about it, pretty much all hairstyles we have now cover the area of the head where, if you were a human, the ears would be.

Back to the original post (and as I have said in a previous thread on the same topic) the hairstyle is different, but from the angle they gave us it looks pretty similar to the ones we already have. Having said that, you'd have to wait until it's released in game or they release a frontal picture to say for sure.

Atleast give us some of the ones from other races. I would love the short hair styles from Highlander females.
Not to mention Alihabra, your characters' hair would look cool on a female miqote too :P

They really need to make all the hair unisex...easy way to instantly double hair options.

Its probably due to the angle. But I don't see a significant difference btw the new hairstyle and the old one for males.

Why thank-you! As for the making every hairstyle non-gender or race-specific, as cliché as it sounds, variety is the spice of life. I'm not going to say no to more choices, nor do I think that many other players would either. I can't think of any other styles I, personally, would particularly want, but then again that is just my humble opinion

This may just be me feeling like I need to be special... But I still feel that at least a couple should remain to their particular gender/race so that there is some sort of uniqueness to being whatever race/gender you are.

I'm all for uniqueness... and therefore the reason to make all current hairstyles available to all classes is simple, I can get an identical haircut to someone else but what makes it unique is that I don't look exactly like that other person in terms of physical attributes/hair color etc. Because hair is changeable I feel like all hairstyles should be available to everyone, so we can have more ways in which to be "unique". Even if those male characters want pony tails / pig tails, let them have em! >_>

No, I do believe and agree that each batch release is too little and I'd like to see more per release. But the devs has made a statement that the hairstyles will be released on a race rotational basis and some people are acting like SE is going back on their own words and neglecting them. I can understand if SE said what they said and then went on to release something like hyur, roe, elezen, miqote, miqote, miqote, miqote, miqote, lala before starting at hyur again and non miqote players get upset about 'not having gotten a new hairstyle in a while'.

I don't get people like you. They've clearly stated that the hairstyles would come in rotation of races. As far as I can remember, we haven't even gotten past the 1st rotation very far. I'm not even sure if this one is the start of the 2nd loop or near the end of the 1st loop but male elezens did get a new hairstyle that was intended for them before it got distributed to everyone else. The highlander new styles haven't even been de-exclusive'd. Seriously stop whining about how your race hasn't gotten a 2nd batch (that wasn't a share-off). Every other race hasn't.

Regardless, a single hairstyle for one race every few patches is so few and far between that it's frustrating for those who want to customize their characters more often.
