Dalamud Horn, please.We're looking into the possibility of introducing items that were only obtainable during version 1.0. As there are quite a few items, we can't promise that we'll be adding all of them into ARR, but we're currently looking into adding ways to obtain both the star-spangled subligar and chocobo mask. Please note that while they are currently being looked into, we do not have any definitive plans to share beyond that.

If there is one single item from 1.0 that should absolutely NOT be obtainable by those who never played 1.0 the Dalamud Horn is it.
Dalamud Horn is the symbol that you were actually there during the calamity and defeated Nael van Darnus in the final 1.0 story mission. To make this item obtainable again would completely invalidate the meaning behind the item.

Slight problem with this.
I have the achievement requirements necessary to have a Dalamud Horn.
I do not have my Dalamud Horn. I beleive I may have forgotten to stop by the achievement NPC to pick it up, or my inventory was full at the time and did not realize it.
Regardless the Achievement is listed in my Lodestone profile, clear with the idea that I should have been able to receive the item. However I cannot receive it from the achievement NPC nor the Calamity Salvager.
I haven't really complained about it, given all that I was given just for being there to begin with, but I do wish there was some way for me to pick up this item.

Have you thought about contacting support? Maybe they could work something out for you?Slight problem with this.

It seemed silly to me to pull a support ticket over a vanity piece at the time. After all the game was new and there was a lot of other content and story to get into. But, as the subject of 1.0 items was raised, it did make me think of this one small regret.
Not exactly sure where I should submit the ticket on this matter though. Would it be something to hit the in game help desk with or is there a different form?

To make this item obtainable again would completely invalidate the meaning behind the item.We already received a lot of commendation for playing 1.0, including a legacy chocobo, a reduced subscription fee and commemoration for our time playing it.
Certain items really do feel like exclusives such as the;
Dalamud Horn/Ochons Ring/White Ravens (etc). These should ABSOLUTELY not be re-obtainable, as they tie in with 1.0 clearly, this is just a given.
See i played 1.0 but due to work and being deployed abroad because of the nature of my job i never had the chance to obtain this. I myself would like to at least have a chance to obtain it. Hell, even if they introduce something similar i would be happy. I do understand where you are coming from though.
