Can we get female outfits that are a little sexier?

Honestly, I just want class-defining armor. Sexier would definitely be nice, but I also want to be able to tell myself apart from the numerous other leather wearing classes out there. It's also quite depressing to see everyone and their mother wearing hauberks. I actually feel like a unique snowflake wearing bowman gear.

I think there are several sexy versions of items that females get. I would really like to see more feminine items like hair bands, flowers, and things like clips and pins. Idk about 'sexy' but i'd like girl oriented items like dresses, matching shoes, tank-tops, and more or less casual looking items.


IMHO items like the coatee and mini skirt/tights Bottoms are a bit much. Although i do welcome items like that too. Makes the game a little less kiddy and more adult. ^^

Have you ever seen an Elezen use the offhand tool on Alchemist (I'm pretty sure that's the class) wearing one of those coatee's? Leaves nothing for the imagination, that's for sure!

Exactly, i genuinely like those items, but when i see/wear them i can't help but feel sorta cheesy.

I trust Akihiko Yoshida's art direction, he's never steered me wrong and I'm a fan of all of his work from Tactics Ogre on. He has shown a great range in design, though. I think right now the armor is more FFXII-Judge style heavy armor, but some Vagrant Story or Ashe-esque stuff (or a slightly less extremely short miniskirt, at least) would be quite cool. Basically, I guess I'd just like to see more of the large spectrum of design we've seen from him in the past, as the armor in the game is more practical (but still quite good looking) and not as fantastic as you might expect in a fantasy game, especially an FF game.

Then again, let's keep in mind about all MMOs start out with fairly basic looking gear and slowly ramp up the range and intricacy of design as the armor artists apparently want to find their niche and improve on what's been done before. I guess the best we can ask for is patience.

By the way, I'm a guy but I've been dragged swimsuit shopping enough to know that those bikinis for the summer event are actually quite cute, never mind how sexy I think they look. I think a general style that balances sex appeal, practicality and cuteness is the best way to go for a fantasy MMO. I do wish I got some regular swim trunks for my elezen, but hey, the ladies need some fanservice too I guess.

All I want is cute or beautiful stuff for females, I don't need anything too revealing though.
I remember a game where you could adjust the breast size to be bigger then your head, and also how much of it was revealed by clothes, leading to mainly prepubescent boys playing female characters while j***ing off. I don't want to see something like that happen here.

What I want are frills and flowers and ribbons x)

If you give people any kind of freedom of course they're going to abuse it. The problem is that without something like proportion adjustments people still complain about not being able to make their character the way they want or feeling less attached to their character because there's less customization. People complained about it in this game, people complained about it in DC Universe.
