Have you ever talked to a person with no gaming experience about FFXIV?

I keep having to remind my family that I CANNOT PAUSE AN MMO WHILE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A BOSS FIGHT. There is no pause button. Things will attack me if I'm not in a safe spot while afk. And they never seem to get that.

I drilled it into my family from an early age! One does not simply turn off a game! Situation must be accessed! Is the game saved????(k that bit's a bit old now I guess..)

...oh dear, one time a party was about to kick off literally in front of me ( crates of beer were procured ), well the party was delayed 10 mins because " I promised this guy I'd help him with something..." and yh, kinda weird xD
