I'd be happier with less patches and better content FYI. You're not a very good mind reader so I'd give up now if I were you.

And I do know what goes into coding, I do it for a living btw, and reusing old code is the quick and easy way out. For a program, its a good use of time, for setting up a dungeon to explore, not so much. If you enjoy the same 5 course meal served with a different gravy and dessert and brought out in a different order, then enjoy. I'd like to see something new on the menu other than.. "HM Dungeon Rehash of the month".

Yes, they do add new content, but a lot of it is not good content is the thing. I'd love to see a hell of a lot less quantity and far more quality, oh, but wait, apparently, "my type" isnt that way... Gods I guess I dont know myself that well! </sarcasm>
Yes of course, how could I forget that everyone on the internet is a developer/programmer who knows the inner workings of gaming development ? How silly of me.

I'm sorry but every developer knows a thing called a time constraint and gaming company works on extremely tight time constraints. By the way, a patch being good or bad is a totally subjective matter. Some people think they are good, so people think they are bad. While you're entitled to your opinion on how Square Enix patches should be done, don't forget that there are hundreds of thousands people with an opinion as well and if there is one thing we have learned over the year in MMOs is that if you don't keep people entertain, they go somewhere else and guess what keeps people entertain ? Yes, that's right, content. So Square Enix as to find the correct balance between the speed at which they release content patches to the quality of said patches and so far, for the amount of time Square Enix spends on each patch to the ratio at which they release it, I'd say they are doing a pretty good job.

But hey, keep at thinking that they aren't working hard if it makes you sleep better at night.
